Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid Position

About Us: We are seeking Electrical Engineers responsible for the design, planning, and engineering of critical, high-visibility projects. As a lead engineer, you will represent the company in client-facing meetings, supervise a team of designers and drafters, and have the opportunity to perform as Project Manager on selected projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the engineer on projects, coordinating with the Project Manager and Team Leader as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the design and production of systems, including attending meetings and site walk-throughs, performing site surveys, coordinating with other disciplines/consultants, and preparing narratives/reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Handle assigned engineering aspects of projects.
  • Oversee the technical content of contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Review conceptual designs with the Team Leader and/or Technical Director to ensure project/task completion meets deadlines.
  • Coordinate with the project manager and other team members on all technical aspects of the project.
  • Ensure work is within the scope of the proposal and on budget.
  • Ensure the Quality Assurance/Quality Control process is carried out per company standards and inform the Project Manager.

Education and Experience:

  • Design experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background and knowledge of systems and their applications for various commercial, institutional, medical, and public buildings such as healthcare, biotech, higher education, office, and large mixed-use residential buildings and hotels.
  • Understanding of state building codes, energy codes, and NFPA codes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
