Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Medical Legal Consulting
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite, Full-Time)
A nationally recognized provider of medical legal consulting and litigation support services is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead day-to-day operations, optimize performance, and drive strategic growth. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape operational infrastructure and guide organizational strategy in a dynamic and growing consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead operational execution in alignment with the company’s mission, values, and strategic goals

Oversee and enhance internal processes, systems, and administrative policies to improve efficiency and scale operations

Collaborate with the President on long-term planning and business development initiatives

Support the execution of marketing strategies and expansion into new markets and geographies

Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Recruit, manage, and retain high-performing cross-functional teams

Evaluate team performance and recommend staffing changes as needed

Manage special projects, reporting, and data-driven decision-making

Stay current with trends in the legal and medical consulting industries
Ideal Candidate Profile:

10+ years of experience in operational leadership, preferably in a consulting or project-based business

Strong financial acumen and understanding of billable-hour and flat-fee business models

Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and navigating organizational complexity

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels

Highly organized, proactive, and skilled in data analysis and process improvement

Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information
Education:

Bachelor’s degree required
