Civil Engineer – EIT (Transportation)
Location: Burlington, MA (Hybrid)
A growing transportation engineering team is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2–5+ years of experience to support roadway and public infrastructure design projects. This is a great opportunity for an early-career civil engineer to contribute to impactful projects while growing technical expertise in a collaborative consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support design and preparation of plans for transportation infrastructure projects

Perform design calculations and assist with cost estimates and quantities

Draft technical reports and documentation for permitting and approval

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies

Assist with field observations and prepare record documents

Follow safe work practices and company safety protocols
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

2–5+ years of relevant experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D strongly preferred

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
Work Environment:

Hybrid schedule based in Burlington, MA

Travel within the region as needed (approx. 20%)
