Job Summary:
The Accountant/Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the organization. This role includes managing financial statements, budgets, and audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and report on budget variances.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning.

Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Coordinate and manage external audits.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Cash Management:
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash management processes.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Strategic Financial Planning:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Support business development initiatives with financial analysis and modeling.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
