We’ve become aware that someone is impersonating Broadreach recruiters – contacting job seekers and posing as an “Executive Recruiter” with Broadreach Executive Search.
How the scam works:
The scammer reaches out from a personal gmail address (not a broadreachstaffing.com address), builds rapport over several email exchanges discussing career goals and opportunities, and eventually recommends the candidate pay for a professional CV review, reportedly in the $400–800 range, before any “opportunity” can move forward.
This is not Broadreach. We do not use gmail addresses for recruiting outreach, and we never ask candidates to pay for CV reviews, resume services, or any part of our recruiting process – for any role, at any stage.
What to do if you’ve been contacted:
– Do not send any payment
– Do not reply further to the sender
– Contact us directly at 781.312.7272 or info@broadreach.io to verify whether an outreach is legitimate
– If you’ve already shared personal information, take appropriate precautions (monitor accounts, consider it compromised)
We reported this impersonation and are sharing this publicly to help protect other candidates. If you or someone you know has received similar messages, please reach out to us – details help us report it further.
