Position Overview

A rapidly growing insurance agency in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join its high-performing team. In this role, you will manage an established book of business while also supporting producers with new and challenging accounts. We’re looking for a customer-focused professional with deep knowledge of personal lines coverage, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.


Key Responsibilities

  • Service and manage an existing book of personal lines accounts

  • Support producers with new business and policy changes

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service to clients

  • Ensure coverage is placed correctly and renewals are handled proactively

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation using agency management systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and inquiries

  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency setting

  • Deep understanding of personal lines coverage, terminology, and markets

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude


Preferred Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems

  • Familiarity with personal insurance market rating systems

  • Undergraduate degree preferred

  • Sense of urgency—and a sense of humor—strongly valued
